We like to make our theatre available to other music or drama companies at times when our own company is not on stage. We will always try to fit you in if we can, especially groups from the local community.
Our hire rates have some flexibility depending on time of day, type of event, facilities needed and so on, but some rough guidance follows.
The theatre is less busy weekday daytime and most weekends, except when we have a production on, so lettings at these times tend to be easier to find and less expensive.
We use ‘time slots’ to set our rates. Daytimes (9am to 5pm) are charged at a lesser rate than evenings, when we hold our own, rehearsals, meetings and productions. Lettings after 5pm usually cost more. Hire periods spanning more than one slot will be charged at a hybrid rate.
Example 1: A two-hour meeting held between 10am and midday would be charged at our daytime hourly rate (currently £15/hour) = £30 assuming you are clear of the building two hours after entering.
Example 2: An evening performance from 5pm to 11pm would be charged at £100.
