Apologies for the short notice, but the evening of short films has had to be cancelled. Bookings will be refunded in full to anyone who has paid.

See over twenty short films shot on budgets ranging from £zero to £10,000, in locations as varied as the man-cave, the garden, Davenham, Beeston Castle, Santorini and Bergen.

Big Film Crew?

From the £100,000 RED camera with £50,000 lenses to the humble GoPro, tracked dolly to hand-held, and cast and crew from 2-50, there are films of all ranges. As for talent, even a cast of frogs has a chance to go up against Bigfoot, Davenham Players regulars and Hollywood actor Terry O’Neil, who won ‘Best Actor, Short Drama’ for his role as Ray in the multiple award-winning short film, Giri.

Comedy, observation, contentious social issues are all on show together with a Q and A with the filmmaker at the end of the evening of entertainment and information for those who love films, and perhaps those who always wanted to make a film.

The purpose of the evening is to entertain, inform and encourage writers to explore the world of short film, and perhaps establish a short film group.
